Role: GCSE and Functional Skills English Lecturer
Location: Cheshire
Type: Full-time
Rate of pay: £25 - £28 per hour
Eden Brown are seeking a dedicated and experienced English GCSE and Functional Skills teacher to for resit students at an FE College in Cheshire. This is a full-time role, requiring 25 teaching hours per week, with additional responsibilities as outlined below:
* Deliver high-quality instruction to GCSE and Functional Skills resit students
* Assist with student enrolment, including evening sessions as needed
* Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development
* Support students with low ability and low confidence, ensuring an inclusive and encouraging learning environment
* Manage administrative tasks efficiently and use technology effectively in the classroom
The suitable candidate will have:
* A recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching English to GCSE Level and also knowledge of Functional Skills plus the relevant teaching experience.
* Strong administrative and time management skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as a team player
* Proficient with technology and capable of adapting to a busy and dynamic environment
* Demonstrated ability to support and engage students with varying levels of ability and confidence
